Machine Purpose
The LINDNER KOMET 1800 granulator is designed for grinding light oversize fractions from municipal waste, as well as pre-shredded industrial waste, commonly known as alternative fuels after grinding.
Input material to be ground in the LINDNER KOMET 1800 granulator should be less than 350 mm in size and have a moisture content below 25%. The material should be free of bulky elements that could damage the knives and other components inside the granulator's working chamber.
The machine's capacity is approximately 4.0-8.0 t/h with a bulk density > 200 kg/m³ and a final fraction defined by a 30 mm screen.

The machine was well-maintained by the customer, and individual components were regularly replaced.
In 2023, it underwent an overhaul and has not been operated since.
During the overhaul, the bearings, knife bases and knives, stator, pressure plate, side plates, rings, and much more were replaced.
The electrical cabinet, electrical system, and hydraulics underwent a thorough inspection. All damaged components were replaced.
